Turn attack simulations into stronger defenses.

Bring attackers and defenders together to validate controls and rapidly improve detection coverage.

Overview

Purple Team sessions connect controlled adversary techniques with immediate defensive observation. Instead of treating testing and remediation as separate projects, the two perspectives work through repeatable scenarios and record what should be tuned.

An assessment is time- and scope-bounded. Findings describe the tested conditions; they do not establish the absence of all vulnerabilities or guarantee a security outcome.

What the engagement examines

  • Threat-informed exercise planning
  • MITRE ATT&CK-aligned scenario selection
  • Detection validation with defender participation
  • SIEM and EDR rule tuning workshops
  • Retesting and evidence-based lessons learned

The work in practice

Select a small group of behaviors that matter to your environment. For each one, record the expected signal, run the approved simulation, inspect the actual evidence and discuss the gap with defenders. Tune only authorized settings and repeat the scenario under comparable conditions. Report cases that were blocked, detected, missed or not testable separately. This makes improvement measurable without suggesting that a single exercise validates the whole security program.

Useful outputs. Not vague assurances.

  • Exercise plan and validated scenarios
  • Observed versus expected detection results
  • Control and playbook tuning recommendations
  • Re-test plan and coverage summary

What you receive

  • Shorten the path from finding to fix
  • Measure meaningful visibility improvements
  • Improve collaboration between technical teams

Clear decisions. Traceable delivery.

Scope & authorize

Agree on objectives, owners, boundaries, exclusions and the evidence needed to answer the question.

Review & validate

Perform the authorized work and record observations. Escalate critical findings through the agreed channel.

Explain & prioritize

Connect technical observations to business impact, practical actions and remaining uncertainties.

Handover & follow up

Review findings with your team and agree on any implementation or retest as a separate, traceable step.

Insights

Penetration testing, Red Team or Purple Team: choose the right assessment.

Choose by the decision you need to make, not by the most impressive service name. Scope, evidence and defensive readiness matter more than labels.

Before we get started.

Service scope, delivery terms and availability are agreed individually.

What is the difference between Red Team and Purple Team?

Red Team is typically objective-led adversary emulation. Purple Team is a more collaborative exercise built to help defenders observe, validate, and improve detection and response.

Can our internal IT team participate?

Yes. The scope can be designed for internal security, IT, engineering, or incident response stakeholders.

What is needed before an engagement starts?

A confirmed scope, authorized owners, relevant access and agreed operating constraints. We do not begin intrusive testing based only on a general enquiry.

Will an assessment automatically change production systems?

No. Assessment and implementation are separate permissions. Any change requires approval, validation and an appropriate recovery plan.

Connected expertise.

Red Team Operations

Objective-led adversary emulation to test how people, processes, and technology respond to realistic attack paths.
